I made a doll quilt this weekend! It's only 18x22" in size, my binding skills stink (despite watching Amy Karol's video umm..like four times), but I love it anyways. And it only took a few hours to make, which encourages me to make more. For wall hangings, doll beds..who knows. Sometimes it's good to make things for the sake of enjoying making them and not stressing too much over where they'll go or who will buy them. Just go with it. And check out this Flickr group. Such inspiring pieces!

Yay for crafting = yay for blogging!!!

cute quilt. I agree wholeheartedly- primarily I craft for the love of it- not to make money, though the later would be nice

Doll quilts are so nice for a project we can finish quickly. And as my friend Gwendie always says - we don't want our dolls to be cold! That's a cute quilt.

I love this and doll quilts are the perfect little project. If only I could get inspired. About anything!

Looks really cute. I had every intention of starting to make mini quilts, and I'd still like to, but it seems my project list has veered in other directions lately. :-/

Hi I just stopped by from Thimbleannas, your doll quilt is so cute and I love your little ladybug pincushion, thanks for the instruction. If I stitch one up I will post on your flicker group.

It doesn't matter that things aren't done perfectly... what matters is you're having fun while you're making it! My little quilt projects would probably cause much laughter, but hey, my grandkids are waarm when they spend the night and I had many happy hours doing something I enjoyed! :) Just found your blog after reading Family Fun! Congratulations! (Of course, that goes to the post above, LOL!) Blessings to you!
